1. Turn on power supply and oxygen; adjust the oxygen outlet to be 0.02-0.04MPa. (Turn on the pre-oxygen switch before adjusting the air pressure 2. Weigh 1g standard sample (500 mg for pig iron), and put it into the carbon-sulfur crucible, meantime, add molybdenum silicon power, tin granular and pure iron) 3. Close the carbon sulfur crucible, and turn on the pre-oxygen as well as the rear control switch, and then observe the flow meter outlet at around 80-120L/H. 4. Hold down the zero button, after the water level in the measurement cylinder descends to the minimum, set the carbon meter to 0.000 with the “carbon-to-zero” button. 5. Click the preparation button, after the water level of measurement cylinder ascends to the maximum and stops automatically, set the sulfur meter up to 0.000 with the sulfur-to-zero button. 6. Analyze: Press the analyze button, the automatic analysis will start. Before the analysis indicator lights out, promptly set the values shown on the instrument to carbon-sulfur content of the undertaken standard sample. 7. Operate the standard sample again, and the sample will be ready for testing as soon as the value is stable.
