Test carbon-sulfur in iron and steel

Firstly, put the sample into the high temperature furnace for trial use, load and bear the sample by the carbon sulfur crucible and burn it in the tube furnace, high-frequency furnace, and arc furnace in contact with oxygen to produces and overflow CO2 and SO2. Use such method to realize the detachment of carbon and sulfur from metal element as well as other compound and test the content of CO2 and SO2 as well as work out the content of carbon and sulfur in steel and iron.
Testing methods: (1) Infrared method: Employ the infrared method to test the carbon and sulfur; under bearing of far infrared carbon & sulfur crucible, possess the characteristics of accuracy, speediness, and high sensitivity, and can be applied to occasions with higher detection precision; the typical one is HW2000 series infrared carbon-sulfur analyzer.
(2) There are ICP method, X-ray fluorescence method, mass spectrography method, chromatography method, as well as activation analysis method and etc. in addition to detect the carbon and sulfur in metal, most of the detection equipments are the imported spectrographs and so on.
